For over twenty years as a believer, I lived in bondage to lies implanted in me as a child. Then, in May 2019, I had a radical encounter with God, and I learned that knowing the Bible isn’t enough: you have to believe that you ARE who HE says you are.

Throughout this journey, you’ll discover twenty-nine biblical truths about who you are in Christ and learn to see yourself the way God sees you. Truth you can build your life on.

The book opens with my own story: the lies I believed, where they came from, and how the truth set me free. Then it does for you what God’s Word did for me. Twenty-one chapters, built the way the series was preached, one identity truth at a time, replacing one lie at a time.

Every chapter ends with Your Documentation, the key verses that prove that chapter’s truth. That’s your file.
Making It Yours reflection questions, plus a For Your Group block in every chapter and a Leader Guide included. This book runs beautifully as a small-group study.

About the Author

Tim Howe and his wife, Meagan, are the founders of Elite Life Ministries, in Waukegan, Illinois. Their ministry grew out of a season of profound life change: years in which they experienced firsthand the healing, restoration, and wholeness that come from knowing who you are in Christ. Out of that season came a calling they now share with everyone they can reach: to know, show, and share the love of God.

Tim’s teaching centers on helping believers grow deeper in their faith and trust in the Lord, and on bringing hope and healing to the hurting and broken. Tim and Meagan also share a deep passion to see marriages and families healed and restored.

Tim and Meagan have been married since 2006 and have four children.
